SEO Specialist

We're hiring on behalf of Takeoff, a B2B website design and development agency. (https://www.takeoffnyc.com/)

Takeoff provides digital strategy, user experience design, visual design, web development, and SEO services to large brands and high-growth companies.

We are now looking for an SEO who is, ideally, a hybrid in SEO and content management to take on an exciting role to help them scale their SEO department.

As an SEO associate, your primary focus will be supporting their senior SEO strategist in executing client deliverables, from keyword research to technical SEO audits.

This is a fully remote, non-client-facing role. Candidates must be available to work at least 50% in alignment with the Eastern European Time Zone. This position will be contract-to-hire to gauge fit.

You will:

• Provide technical site audits (architecture, site speed, schema, etc.)
• Manage, systemize, and help with scaling content production
• Create detailed content outlines and briefs that combine research, company guidelines, and SEO best practices
• Work closely with content writers, link-building vendors, etc.
• Collaborate with our SEO strategists, designers, and developers
• Actively research, test, and propose new approaches to improve SEO

About you:

• You have a great time zone overlap with Eastern Europe for better collaboration with our SEO team
• 1-2 years of proven SEO experience
• A strong understanding of content and technical SEO. You must be able to know how to do keyword research, run a technical SEO audit, and create SEO-driven content briefs. We’ll train you on our internal processes, but we need you to have experience doing these tasks
• Fluency in English

Bonus points:

• Agency experience is a plus
• Personal projects are a massive plus
